A “Microsoft Add-In” for YuJa Panorama is now available for Word. The advantage of the add-in is that it allows you to review accessibility issues directly within your Word documents without having to upload your documents to Canvas or the DocHub. A PowerPoint add-in is also available, but it doesn’t provide the same features as what you get in Panorama, so it is not as useful at this point.
If you need assistance installing Office add-in, please contact the IT Help Desk.
To install the add-in, you will need to get an “access token” from Panorama.
- If you are a teacher in Canvas, go to a course and Click the “Panorama” link in the navigation for your course
- Or, if you are not a Teacher in Canvas, log in to the Panorama DocHub
In the Panorama window, click on the “Add-In Setup” link in the navigation on the left side

In the window that opens, go to Step 3 and click the “Copy Token” button.

To install the add-in, open the desktop or Microsoft 365 version of Word and follow these steps:
- On the “Home” ribbon in Word, click on the “Add-In” icon
- In the window that opens, search for “Yuja”
- When the “Yuja Panorama” add-in appears, click “Add”

- Once installed, click on the “Yuja Panorama” ribbon
- Click on the “Accessibility Report” icon. The add-in asks you for an access token

In the window that opens, paste in the access token, and then click “Connect.”

You should now be able to use the Word Add-In for Panorama to make your document digitally accessible.
