Use the Canvas Accessibility Checker #
- Anytime you build content in Canvas with the Rich Content Editor (RCE) you can use the built-in accessibility checker to flag issues for repair.
- It’s important to note that the accessibility checker won’t find all issues – if you neglect to use headings when they would have been appropriate to help organize content, for example. This is why and understanding of the core concepts and a mindset of building accessibly from the start is so critical.
