If you are teaching two (or more) sections of the same course and would like to use the same Canvas shell for both classes, you can do that using the Cross-List feature in Canvas.

00:07: How do I cross list a section in a course as an instructor?
00:11: In global navigation click the courses link then click the child course

00:17: In course navigation click the settings link
00:21: Click the sections tab
00:24: Click the section named link of the section you want to cross list?
00:28: Click the cross list this section button.
00:31: In the search for course field enter the name of the course or sis ID into
00:35: which you are cross listing the parent course.
00:38: Or in the course ID field enter the ID number for the course.
00:44: Confirm you have selected the correct course click the cross list this section
00:48: button.
00:50: The cross listed section now appears in the new course the breadcrumbs
00:54: display the new course code.
00:56: Sections can only be in one course at a time.
00:58: If you need to cross list the section into a different course click
